If passed, the proposed bond measure would:
Address Safety and Security – $5,569,135
- Secure entrances, and upgrades to door locks
- Enclose exterior walkways at Scotts Mills
- Updated intercom, phone, & data systems
- Fire alarm upgrades
Replace Silverton Middle School – $75,000,000
- Fund the replacement of all the buildings at Silverton Middle School with the exception of the gym.
Health & Accessibility Projects – $22,984,881
- Air quality improvements with HVAC system upgrades, including air conditioning
- Asbestos abatement
- ADA Accessible entries
- ADA Accessible restrooms
- Covered play areas
Update & Repair Aging School Buildings – $38,743,900
- Roof replacement
- Sewer repair
- Electrical and plumbing upgrades
- Address basement water infiltration
- Storm water upgrades
- Window and flooring replacement
- Sidewalk, parking lot, and traffic flow improvements
- New gym at Robert Frost Elementary
